The Consumerist recently spotted this copy of the aging operating system. For the low, low price of $300, you get the Ultimate Edition. That nets you drive encryption, premium games, and yes, even remote desktop services!
Sure, it doesn’t support DirectX 11, and sure, support ended two years ago. Just a minor hitch for such a bargain.
Of course if that’s still too rich for your blood, the Consumerist points out that you can also buy Windows Vista Ultimate on Amazon for just $185.
Off course a brand new copy of Windows 8.1 is only $105, so if you’re going to by something everybody hates, might as well save some cash in the process.
