Dead or Alive is finally coming to PC, and series producer Yosuke Hayashi is asking gamers to keep mods “good and moral”. Yep, the irony is not lost on me.

The fighting game is probably better known for it’s scantly clad female characters than its combat mechanics. After decades of console exclusivity, Koei Tecmo has finally decided to release Dead or Alive 5: Last Round to Windows.

However, Hayashi cautioned gamers to keep mods clean, otherwise this will be the only time the series ends up on PC. I’m not sure what constitutes bad or immoral, but I can hazard a guess.

He did defend the game’s use of sexy female characters, saying that the game is supposed to be light hearted and over-the-top. “Their abilities are very balanced and we want to present all of them as dynamic, strong, sexy, and confident.”

“What is important to remember is that Dead or Alive is a series developed in Japan, where the interpretation of beauty is very different to that of Europe or the US,” he added.

I guess you could say Dead or Alive modders are hentied. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
