PlayStation 4 gets big day-one patch
All you PlayStation 4 fans mocking the Xbox One crowed for their day-one patch, guess…
I’ve always hated the Xbox for having that bulky power brick. Seems so inelegant. Fear not, Sony has confirmed the Playstation 4 power supply will be mounted internally. So I guess if you’re pressed for space behind your television, you’re in luck.
Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida confirmed the news via Twitter yesterday. However, eagle eyed gamers have known this since the console was first unveiled. The booty shots of the PS4 revealed the same two prong power connector used for the PS3 Slim and Super Slim. While having an internal power supply saves space, if does lead to heat issues. This contributed to overheating in the original fat PS3s. Hopefully Sony has improved airflow this time around.
@yosp: The power is inside, so no brick outside. “@ScottLowe: Get all cozy with the PlayStation 4: http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/06/28/playstation-4-up-close-and-personal …”
